Test platform: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on an ASUS N50Vn-B1B notebook. 4 GB RAM with 1GB Video RAM. Hard drive is 320 GB. Power cord was being used as power source.
Test method: The computer was set to auto log on. The elapsed time was measured from the time the power button was pushed until the final icon in the task bar was presented. The computer was on for 2+ minutes before the shutdown time was measured. The computer was turned off at least 2 minutes before the power on measurements were taken. The stopwatch used was XNote Stopwatch.
