A Boot CD entails more than just what you buy - Ready To Boot. A Boot CD can also be created with appropriate CD-RW software from Roxio or aHead's Nero and your CD-RW Drive. You'll also need your DOS Boot Disk to create your Boot CD as a Bootable CD.

A Boot CD can also be created to be Auto Play enabled. As we experimented with on our BuildOrBuy CD Disc 2. A Boot CD can come in handy when your PC freaks and you need a verified virus free, certified clean, write protected Boot Disk to either access an existing PC HD partition or to help install a new HD.

Your new Win98 CD & Windows 2000 CD's are bootable! To use, make sure your PC Computer Bios is set to boot from a Bootable CD.

To create you own bootable CD, you'll need to 1st create a DOS Boot Floppy Disk.
