I solved the autologon of a Windows XP Professional session for my system.

Run - control userpasswords2

If "User must enter a username and password to use this computer" is not checked, check it. Then apply. Highlight user you want to autologon.

Remove check on "User must enter a username and password to use this computer" and apply. On Automatically Log On screem click OK without entering a password.
